The Bethel Youth Group is the senior young people’s group of the church for young adult ranging from ages 18 – 35.

The aim of this group is to spread the gospel to the young generation far and near, and to provide a network of support from a Christian perspective to help deal with the prominent challenges in today’s society.

As Christ’s Ambassadors our mandate is to be Christ’s representatives and to reconcile people to God, as referred to in 2 Corinthians 5:20 “So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us”.

We aspire to be able to be well grounded in the word of God, and to be well equipped to face the challenges of living in a continuously secularized society which we live as young people, to live a godly, fruitful and victorious life, yet without withdrawing from our responsibility of being the salt and the light of the world.

What we do:

We meet on the second Friday of each month. During these meetings we have discussions, refreshments and an opportunity to share our testimonies and challenges. We also take time out to pray for each other, read the word of God

together and discuss and pray about issues affecting the nation. Annually we organise productions in which we use our various talents to glorify God as well as spread God’s message to other youths. The talents include: Singing, dancing, acting, spoken word, interpretive dance and playing of various instruments.

Membership

We welcome any young persons between the ages of 18 and 35 who are interested in been a part of us.
