David Camp - Prayer Ground

Jesus said: Come Away by yourself and rest for a while (MARK 6:3 RSV)

David Camp is a Retreat Center operating under the umbrella of Sower International Evangelical Ministry (SIEM) whose overseer is Apostle Ayo Omideyi.  The camp is situated within 2 acres of grounds at Kilometre 3, Ijoko-Agbado Road, Ogun State, Nigeria.

It offers  a place of total silence where you can forget all the worries of life, concentrate on seeking the Face of God, hearing His voice as Samuel did (1SAMUEL 3:10 RSV) and experience a closer walk with God.

David Camp offers day retreats for individuals or groups with the option of holding night vigils. There is accommodation available for those requiring over- night stay, however, please note that the camp does not encourage unmarried couples to share cubicles (proof of marriage will be requested).

Although there is ample space for individuals to appreciate their ‘quiteness’, fellowship through worship and prayers is enjoyed amongst others within the camp. The Camp co-ordinator is on site to answer any queries and assist those interested in using the facilities. The Camp is a ’Praying Mountain’ and must not be defiled in any way. The Auditorium is an open area where individuals and groups are able to pray. The Chapel of Light within the retreat center is open to those who want to worship. On Wednesdays, prayer sessions are held in the chapel led by the staff members.  These sessions are open to all who wish to attend.

Christ Apostolic Church (BETHEL) – MEIRAN, Lagos

This is a growing branch situated at Rimax College Compound, in Merian on Lagos Abokuta Express Way. The branch was started by Apostle Ayo Omideyi as a make-shift structure to hold revival meetings.  Following one revival, new converts began to use it as a place to worship and to hold prayer meetings. The ethos of the head quarters in London is echoed, followed and practiced at this branch - “Prayer is Our Business, The Word our Priority and Salvation our Message”

Occasionally as the Holy Spirit directs revival meetings, open to the general public are held there

Sower Media Trust Dar-Essalam - Tanzania

The Sower Media Trust (SMT) is the registered name of the The Sower International Evangelical Ministry (SIEM) in Tanzania. Apostle Ayo Omideyi is the General Overseer of the ministry.

The Sower Media Trust began its mission work at Meezi Beach Tanzania in 2002 with discipleship training for pastors of various churches in Tanzania.  Following this training programme revival meetings were held in BAGAMOYO, KIGOMA MUSHY KOROGWA.

The mission grew and the prayer house for fellowship and worship was started at SUPER-MBEZI BEACH in 2008.  Since then, revival meetings have been held for touts and drugs users in various areas of Dar-essalam.

Outreach and Evangelism activities have taken place in MAGARUWE, MAJO-GONGOLAMBOTO, MWAZA in a bid to reach out to those who have not received the true teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry’s primary goal is to meet the Spiritual and other needs of the congregation who are mainly alcoholics or sufferers of the AIDS disease.

In order to expand its activities and be able to bring its teachings nearer to the people a new branch of the ministry was started in BANJU in 2008. Prayer meetings and worship services are regularly held at this branch.

The ministry is not a money making one, but one burdened with the need to make “Disciples for Christ” and aspire to enter the kingdom of God in fulfillment of the command of our Lord Jesus Christ – “…Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… MATT 28:19(RSV)….”

In 2008 some of the new converts were baptized by immersion; this is in fulfillment of JOHN3:5(RSV) “Truly, Truly I say to you unless one is born….”
