Omideyi cottage

Omideyi Cottage

The construction of the Omideyi cottage started in 2013 and was finally dedicated and opened on 3rd of December 2022 to the Glory of God. Account by Mama Kadeshi Coordinator of the David Camp Branch (May 2023). This building the “Omideyi Cottage” is a result of my conversation with the late Apostle Ayo Omideyi sometime way back in September 2010. Before his transition to glory, we once walked together through the camp premises and when we got to the present site of the building, the he asked me and said “Mama camp, what if we build an upstairs building in this place?” to which I answered by saying “that is a good idea sir” and as far as I was concerned, that was where that conversation ended. But years after his demise, I had an encounter with the Lord when I was in prayers and a vision was shown to me. In that vision I saw myself climbing a ladder that had about 12 steps within it, and I noticed as I climbed to the 11th step, I was unable to climb to the 12th which happened to be the last step. I didn’t understand the vision, so I sought the knowledge of a man of God who is a father to me for interpretation. He interpreted the message saying, that I was yet to complete the work to me. but he had assigned to me I requested he tell me more about what the uncompleted work was, but he instructed me to go back to God in prayers for the Lord to show and direct me.

Later I went on my knees praying to God and another vision was shown to me where I saw the late Apostle Omideyi and I on the David camp premises, he reminded me of what he had said about the land when he was alive and he repeated it saying, “Mama camp, what if we build an upstairs building in this place?” He repeated this question three times.

I called on my father the man of God again and told him about the vision and his response was that I had received grace. That vision made me decide on carrying my cross of constructing the building, while I prayed for the help and guidance of God. I told a spiritual mother, the current General Overseer Fadeke Omideyi about this revelation and her prayer for me was that God will enable me to complete the assignment that was given to me.

In 2013, I was reminded of the vision through a prophecy, that prompted me to take the bold step to begin the building construction even though we had no money. I told Lord to manifest Himself if He truly destined me to develop the land and by the grace of God, I started a journey of building the house on Wednesday the 11th of December 2013.

We started the foundation with the help and contributions of many servants of God whose names I cannot remember to mention. Today, we have erected a building that was completed with the mercy and directions from the Lord without us borrowing any money from any institutions whatsoever.

All Glory be to God. Amen

Mercy arose for me in many areas because at every time I got to a point of not knowing what to do next, I called on God to lead me and He always showed Himself Mighty by directing me through every step. It was not an easy journey, as I met several obstacles and fought many battles, but I today return all the glory to God who called me and led me to make this vision a reality, all by His grace.

While giving all the glory to God, I wish to acknowledge all those whom God has used to support me through this journey. Many special thanks go to the General Overseer of the ministry, our spiritual mother, Prophetess Fadeke Omideyi for her spiritual and
moral support in prayers and in directions when we began the foundations. She deployed architects and made sure that the planning aspects with the government suffered new setbacks.

At the stage when I was facing some serious challenges about the work, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “my servant Majekodunmi is weeping because of my work, can you also weep because of my work?” this geared me up and encouraged me to
move forward in the journey. My appreciation goes to my dear Evangelist Taiwo Majekodunmi for her encouragement and overall support over the years in the Lord’s vineyard.

To all my spiritual fathers, many fellow ministers of God and friends known to God Almighty, I am very grateful for your constant support. I also want to thank the headquarters of this ministry, Christ Apostolic Church (Bethel) UK incorporating the Sower International Evangelical Ministry, for their continuous prayers and financial support.
